Press Release: Exciting Update for Snickers & Rollo- Equine Dreams Really Do Come True!
We at Nimchuk Equine Foundation have the most exciting news to share! You may recall that we rescued two horses, Snickers and Rollo, from a kill pin in Louisiana back in 2021. As you may recall, they were two bonded horses... best of friends who could not be separated. Through the gracious hospitality of RJF Equine and Jennie Rodden Sloan, they have been living on 88 beautiful acres in Oklahoma.
Last weekend, Snickers and Rollo traveled across five state lines to Idaho, where they are going to be living at the 13,000 acre Rewilding America Now sanctuary. They'll spend the winter in a small comfortable area because they aren't used to being wild horses and will have to acclimate again. Next spring, they'll be transferred to 13,000 acres and live as true wild horses again. This is such a wonderful, happy success story for these beautiful horses, and we are thrilled for them. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the kindness and generosity of RJF Equine and Rewilding America Now for making this dream come true for these lucky horses.
If anyone wishes to sponsor Snickers and Rollo, they can set up a monthly sponsorship. All money raised will be divided between RJF Equine and Rewilding America Now.
