Our Board of Directors
Linda Watson – President and Founder
Linda is a native of Westchester, California and grew up completely horse crazy. She picked her college, Pepperdine University, because of its equestrian program. Linda recently published “Dr. Linda’s Comedy Marriage Boot Camp”, a book on how to stay happily married for 25 years or more. 50 percent of the profits of the book are donated to the Nimchuk Equine Foundation to help horses.
Dr. Jason Mack- Board Member
Dr. Jason Mack is a college professor and entrepreneur. He brings many skills to our nonprofit, including grant writing and networking.
Thomas Bullard – Board Member and Treasurer
Tom grew up in Glendale, California and resides in Los Angeles. He is a businessman and philanthropist. Tom loves all animals and brings his finance and business skills to the organization.
Andrea Watson – Board Member and Secretary
Andrea is a native of San Diego, California and is a horse lover through and through. She got her first horse, Joy, when she was 10. Andrea brings her computer and organizational skills to the nonprofit.
Christopher Capp – Board Member
Chris grew up in Westchester, California and works as a film editor. He lives in Los Angeles and is someone who wants to make this world a better place for both people and animals.
Monique Staats- Board Member
Monique Staats, a California native based in New York, is a college advisor with a background in organizational management and coordination. Passionate about animals, Monique is excited to contribute to the board’s work supporting horse rescues.
